1.1 Structural reports
Our structural reports and surveys involve a site visit and detailed inspection of the building to identify root causes of structural problems which may need to be monitored or remedied. The findings are presented in a detailed report which includes an assessment of the current condition and suggestions for appropriate repairs and retrofitting measures.
We can also advise on any follow-up remedial work to correct any issues identified in the structural report/audit.
1.2 Feasibility reports
Feasibility reports are the first step when a client is looking to change the purpose of an existing building and/or apply additional loads to them eg adding additional floors. They are highly recommended in any circumstance and are often requested by lenders for funded projects. A landlord may also request this if a tenant is thinking of repurposing a building involving structural work.
