A new KFC drive-through restaurant with two floors of offices located at Maylands Avenue, Hemel Hempstead.

This modern three storey building had an exterior featuring london red brickwork, insulated cladding panels and redwood timber board spandrel panels. The building design also comprised of an undercroft drive-thru and mono pitch roofs with tapered overhangs.

The structural frame was formed in steelwork with a composite floor deck system. An In-depth structural frame analysis and design was required to fulfill requirements for strength and lateral stability due to the extent of glazing in the building façade.
